This Weekend's Bounty!

Now that I'm on the other side of things Bountiful Baskets is a lot of work but is a very worth while way to spend a couple Saturday mornings a month!

This cycles share:

1 giant head of Romaine - Mine was the size of at least 2 at the store, maybe 3!
2 heads Baby Bok Choy
1 head Califlower
1 Butternut Squash
2 1 lb bags of carrots
3 Tomatoes - These were REALLY green which was my only complaint this cycle
1 Tuscan Cantelope
2 1 lb cartons Strawberries
1 bag green grapes
7 Nectarines
6 Fuji Apples
8 Bananas

I have weighed it ALL, even the bunches of greens LOL, and I got 26 lbs 1 oz of produce! When you consider one share is only $16.50 including the $1.50 transaction fee, not too shabby! Based on produce sale prices at local stores in Cache Valley the above should have cost $25.39 + sales tax. I did price the Tuscan Cantelope at the regular Cantelope price so it's probably worth a little more. Basically all of it is on sale right now. 'Tis the season for produce in Utah I guess but my savings was still 35%!

Happy Anniversary. . .

Petersboro!

One year ago today we moved here!
Can you believe it's been that long?
Here's to another great year in Cache Valley!!!

PS. Sorry I've been gone so long. We've been busy plus my camera broke!!! And then. . .the camera I borrowed from my mom accidently had it's card deleted by BRANDON!
We've still been busy doing lots of fun stuff and I've still been busy saving my family $$$. Only spent $264 in the month of July for all our food, diapers, paper products, health & beauty, cleaning supplies. . . and you should see my food storage!!
Updates coming soon! :)
