A party fit for. . .

Well. . . Parker of course!

Theme: Indiana Jones
Although my children have only seen the Young Indiana Jone movies and part of Raiders of the Lost Ark they are still Indy obsessed. Don't ask me why. It must be a boy thing.

Invites:

Each child's name was in Egyptian on their bag and each child got a compass to help them along on their adventure.

Then Indy wrote Parker a letter letting him know he was in need of Parker's help to uncover the hidden treasure of the 6 year old crusade. He left Parker clues along the way.

First the children had to dig in the "Sands of Egypt."

Then they had to use weapons to find their next clue.

Next "Mummy knows best" and the truth unraveled before them.

Then they had to travel into the Sacred Cave of Fate (aka the barn) and find the crystal gems.

After each finding a crystal gem in the cave they were bitten by deadly mosquitos and contracted Malaria. They had to find the antedote by searching the cave for the Holy Grail.

Next they had to swing over the snake pit.

And Finally. . . "Crusade searchers take heart - go back to where this search did start. The treasure there you will find - along with fun of a different kind."

The crusade ended by the kids finding an arc filled with all the presents the kids had brought to the party.

Next a fabulous Indy cake. Thanks Grandma Joyce!
